‘Life…’ has learned the details of Yevhen Chervonenko’s divorce with his wife Margo
GODPARENTS of President Viktor Yuschenko’s child, ex-husband and wife Yevhen and Margarita Chervonenko haven’t talked to each other for a year now after their divorce: their ardent love has turned into hate.
‘Life…’ managed to reveal what had destroyed one of the most conspicuous couples of the Ukrainian politics.
Conflict
As our paper has learned, the reason that separated the Zaporizhia ex-governor and his wife Margo was… the politics.
“After 11 years of marriage me and Zhenya were separated by his political activities,” – 45-year-old Margarita Chervonenko disclosed to ‘Life…’. “During difficult moments of life the inner essence of a person gets revealed, that was what happened with him as well. I can’t bear if something is contrary to my inner world – that was the essence of the conflict.”
According to the ex-wife of the Viktor Yuschenko’s crony, her husband took from her everything she had, despite the fact that she was helping him all their life. Chervonenko left his wife only the surname as a remembrance.
“I was practically providing for my husband when he left for the big politics,” Margarita confessed. “Now we have to divide our common property with a great scandal. When he told me after the divorce: “You are free not only of me but of everything!” it was very difficult for me. But in the financial aspect – it was just insulting.”
Substitution
Though, according to the politician’s ex-wife, she has found a substitution for Yevhen Alfredovych. Margarita disclosed to ‘Life…’ that she has a new love.
“I have my personal life,” Ms. Chervonenko took us into confidence smiling coquettishly. “But, so far, I don’t want to reveal the name of my new man. I am a woman, first of all, so I never forget about my personal life.”
Yevhen Chervonenko, who has recently been charged with preparations for the European Football Championship in Ukraine and Poland, was enraged to hear his wife’s name.
“I don’t want to talk about my ex-wife,” Yevhen Alfredovych snapped without hiding his emotions. “Now I am only interested in the Euro-2012.”
